Definition of - Stem - and - Leaf Plot
A stem and leaf plot is a way of displaying dataset that
shows the individual place values. The numbers on the
left (the tens place) are called the stem and the numbers
on the right (the ones place) are called the leaf.
This plot shows the number of
swimming laps a group of
students did in one minute.
